This scholarship, funded by the Scandinavian Cultural Foundation, is for high school seniors living in the greater Junction City, Oregon area who have been involved with the Scandinavian Festival.

You are eligible to apply if you live in the area, you’re scheduled to graduate this year with plans to further your education (college or trade school), and you’ve been active with the Junction City Scandinavian Festival through dance, volunteering, or work.

The St. Lucia scholarship is publicly awarded every year at Opening Ceremonies on Thursday morning, the first day of the Scandinavian Festival.

The application and essay will need to submitted by January 15th of your senior year.
